Asbestos Operations & Maintenance Day One

STC, LLC. offers 16 hours of Initial O & M training for building and industrial employees engaged in  maintenance and repair. These courses have been held at our physical location for employers who wanted to assure that small repair work was done by trained personnel. We will be offering the first day (8 hours) of this course as an on-line service.  The remaining 8 hours including the hands-on portion in appropriate work practices, respiratory protection, and the final exam will take place at our facility in St. Louis, MO. By taking the first 8 hours of the initial training online, you will save money on lodging, fuel,  and travel time.  Before purchasing this course, you will need to call our office at 618-855-8764 to reserve your final 8 hour space in the next available class.  This course is offered once a month at our physical location.  After completion of this Day One Course, save and print your certificate.  You will need to bring it with you when you come to STC to complete the remaining 8 hours of training.

Who Should Attend:

This course is required training (under U.S. EPA/AHERA) for all school workers whose activities will disturb asbestos-containing materials. O & M training is required under the recently revised OSHA Asbestos Construction Industry Standard for both workers and Competent Persons engaged in the Class III and Class IV work categories.

OSHA require that all employers provide sixteen hours of operations and maintenance (O & M) training to any employee who is “likely to disturb” asbestos-containing material during repair or maintenance activities. (Under the new regulations, such work is now considered Class III abatement.)

You have 120 days from the date of purchase to finish the course.  After that, your access will expire.
