$70.00

Description

According to the CDC, despite improvements in public health policies and substantial reductions in blood lead levels (BLLs) in adults, lead exposure remains an important health issue worldwide. Approximately 95% of all elevated blood lead levels reported among adults in the United States are work-related.  Even a little lead poisoning can cause serious health problems, and at very high levels, it can be fatal.

This course will help you to understand the hazards related to lead exposure, and therefore help you to avoid or reduce your exposure.

While completing this online course, you will be given terms and definitions of lead and its characteristics. You will become familiar with preventive measures and actions you should take when lead becomes an issue.  You will learn to handle documentation and awareness, as well as resources for additional information.

Once a person satisfactorily completes the course, an e-certificate .pdf is immediately available to save and print.
